A lot of design shops talk about passion. Passion for design, passion for solving problems, passion for meeting a client’s needs. And that’s great. You need passion if you operate a creative business. The difference is, is that we at Villain Design Bureau will never force our own passions onto you. What does that mean? If a client has an idea and wants to see it through, we do everything possible to make it a reality. We truly believe great design is the result of collaboration. Also, VDB will never charge any sort of consultation fee. And we won’t charge you for meetings. In other words, you won’t get nickel-and-dimed for our services. To put it plainly, Villain Design Bureau doesn’t believe in B.S., fluffy, high-gloss, poppycock twaddle. We simply believe in strong, stunning design that shoots to the heart of its audience like a Beretta.
Commitment to Quality & the Environment
As a design shop, we understand that we have a bigger impact on the environment than most people might realize. Paper, ink, die-cuts, foils, coatings, energy usage…they all take their toal. Here’s what we’re doing to make a difference.
- Paperless invoices and proposals
- Working primarily with eco-friendly printing presses: Greener Printer, JakPrints, local green printers
- Encourage our clients to utilize digital marketing campaigns whenever possible
- CFL bulbs and 100% recycled paper used in office
- Strict recycling practices according to Denver Recycles guidelines
- Donating, reselling or recycling old office equipment
- Teleconferencing whenever possible
The Green Incentive
Because we are so serious about being green, we’ve decided to save you some.
Whenever a client agrees to have their project printed on 100% recycled paper stock,
we take 15% off the total design cost.
What we simply won’t do
Being committed to the environment means that there are some printing practices that we simply will not adhere to.
We will not spec any sort of UV coating, foil, one-use die or utilize ANY virgin papers of any kind.
